Beaut

So today i came across NoiseTrade thorough Kara's blog and i instantly fell in love. Beautiful music, whole CDs and EPs, for free !? Sounds like love for me. I would absolutely love to be supporting these gorgeous artists but as i am on high school student budget, it is pretty difficult. I am always always looking for new lovable music, so if you have any suggestions just send them my way.

These are some of my favorites so far <3

Summer seems like it is finally here! it is hot and beautiful! and school is for sure out. Last night i went to my first bonfire of the summer , and me and one of my dear friends dove into her freezing cold pool. Summer Is Here :) and i love it. Usually summer isn't that exciting for me and i quite like cold weather and snow, but this summer seems like it is going to be fantastic.
Thanks for listening.

I'm dreaming, and never coming back again .

I took this picture with my webcam looking through the viewfinder of my instamatic! Oh my gosh i was so excited when i walked into our local Bible for Missions thrift store and found new unused 126 film that worked in my instamatic, i have no idea how the pictures will turn out or if i had enough light while taking the pictures, but that's the fun part right? the not knowing?

I have always had a weird love for names. One of my favorite games to play with my sister has always been what will you name your baby if you had a baby tomorrow. So you can understand how excited i was to find my mum's old baby naming book. I am such a nerd that i actually went through it and high lighted all my favorite names. I would like to share with you a few of my favorites . And as you can probably tell, i love lists so you will continue to see a lot of them :)

Boys!
1. Forrest
2. Willis
3. Jonas
4. Conan
5. Royal
6. Moses
7. Virgil
8. Finn
9. Channing
10. Renny

Girls!
1. Easter
2. Sibyl
3. Florence :)
4. Taluhlah
5. Mehitabel
6. Mabel
7. Ivy
8.Gemma
9. Genevieve
10. Poppy

Sometimes i love strange names and sometimes i love simple names, but i find all names really fascinating.

In case you were wondering

** Please try to ignore, the extremely large photos, i am no where near an expert at photo/computer- ness. Give me time to fix these tiny kinks **

In case you were wondering, here are a my top nine daily reads :

1. Cakies
<span class=
For one thing, look at those adorable faces! How can you not want to read about them? I started reading Rubyellen's blog about a year and a half ago, and she is the one to inspire me to start my own blog. I love the simplicity of her words, the gorgeousness of her unique outfits and her contagious smile. Plus, it is wonderful to read about, and "get to know", someone who is so dedicated to Christ and raising her children in the best way she can.

Another early favorite of mine, that i began reading early of last year. I think i was first attracted by her whimsical hair and adorable outfits. I love her thrifting posts, as they are truly inspiring. I have began emailing her asking questions about camera's and such. She seems like such a lovely soul. As well as her Friday Favorites posts are a always a treat.

Daddy, Daddy, Daddy
I am not entirely sure how i came across Rachel's blog, most likely through the Red Velvet loveliness. I love her honesty and her just everyday life blogging. I also thing her little baby, Ruby, is so so so cute. Her home tour was a complete inspiration to me as well. Of course because of all the vintage pretties.

LA-bridesmaid
Oh this one, this one is a keeper. LA has my dream life. She is gorgeous and creative and lovable, from what i read at least. My favorite part of her blog is that she is a Winnepegger and it gives me great comfort to read about those old favorite streets of mine. I just love the truth and happiness in her written words.

Elsie_glasses
So, i pretty much think of Elsie as the leader and queen of handmade, independent blogging. I am instantly inspired the moment i log on to her blog and have a look around. Her shop Red Velvet, is my dream shop. I hope some day i can visit it, but i am afraid Missouri is an awful long way to go. Her wedding is another story as well, i loved the bridesmaids dresses and the mismatched colored tights, the handmade touches, and the photobooth extravaganza.

I shall take back what i said earlier about Cakies being the first blog i ever read. It was indeed this beautiful portrayal of southern family life. I discovered it through the love of her fabrics, which i fell in love with through my parents shop. I love her fabrics, to begin with. The are vibrant and different. The way she raises her children, is also ridiculously inspiring. Those children are going to be the most creative people of our generation i do believe. :)

bread1web
So i can finally say, that this one is a new addition to my little daily blog family. I was first drawn to Kara's blog, because she is a young... ger.. person. Hah, i suppose teenager would be the word? Well i love finding a fellow youngin in this blogosphere. Then i realized she was going to Pratt in New York, and that was the end. I was hooked. Plus, isn't her hair the perfect red?

Oh garsh. This girl is also inspiring just as the rest. Visiting her blog on a daily bases is an instant ray of sunlight. She is the sister of my #1 blog lady and they both share the contagious smile and incredible sense of style. Richelle is always reminding me *figuratively as i don't literally know her* to thank the Lord for everything in my life. She is always happy and her blog simply makes me happy too.

Another, new-ish addition to my daily reads. Elycia is cute. Her outfits are adorable. I love her vlogs as well. And i like how casual her blog feels. I truly truly enjoyed reading her 28 Things posts and i would love to do something like it soon. Even though my birthday is past now.

So there you go . Now you know what i am doing on the internet for hours at a time, catching up with my daily inspiration givers. EXCITING NEWS!! today after months and months of longing, i got my very own FUJIFILM INSTAX MINI !

I could just hug it and love it all day long. The hard part now is holding off on using up all my film . P.s. do admire my beautiful CCH Cougars shirt ;)

Blessing .

I would like to start out by saying that God has so so blessed me in giving me such gorgeously magnificent friends, both in Manitoba and Alberta. Sometimes when i sit back and look at my life, i get this giddy feeling in my heart, because i really couldn't have it much better. I have come so far since last year and i am so grateful for what God has done for me and the people around me. I am writing a post about this because .... TODAY I GOT THE MOST HEART-FELT AMAZING PACKAGE FROM MY BEST FRIEND!! I came home from school and my mum was like "I think Vanessa sent you a package, i put it on your bed." and i was like "Another one?" because she is that awesome that she just sent me one like a week before! So i opened it and a card fell out and i was like "Mum! Awwe, Ness's brothers signed the envelope!" So i was pretty impressed by that BUT THEN! I opened the card and all of my greatest friends from last year signed it with a little message to me :) I literally had tiny tears in my eyes, about to stream down my face! I was speechless ! God has given me the gift of amazing friends. I wasn't expecting this at all! Vanessa also wrote me a 7 page, count 'em SEVEN, note :') She is a gorgeous, strong and unique woman and i couldn't ask for a better friend to call my best! So this post is dedicated to her. Also she sent me some gorgeous knitting magazines, because she knows me so well.

A silly photo of me and my best friend at Summer in the City last year ! *love*

Kaidra, Sarah, Nessa and Me at my going away party :)

Me being very very excited after getting the card in the mail! If you look closely you can probably see little tears :')

See how excited i am? I jumped for joy!

So all in all, i am gonna go out on a limb here and say that i have the most incredible children as my friends in the world. the end.

p.s. i made those shorts :)

Speeding Through

I can't believe school is almost over for the summer! i can't wait, but it is also like mind blowing to me that i am done my first year of high school, and not only high school but a high school in which i knew nobody a year ago. i am oddly proud of myself. I can't believe how many great friendships i have made, and how many even greater friendships i have kept from home. ALl the time i can catch myself thinking of how weird it is that my everyday people from last year aren't and don't even know my everyday people this year. I guess that happens to everyone when they move, but to me it is interesting and exciting. I also love the feeling of feeling like out of it or not included here, but knowing that i have my own inside jokes, old memories, life long friends from home. I like not having to depend on the peopl
e here for everything or anything. This year went by remarkably fast and i accomplished so much. I am still discovering who my real friends are here and who i want to be in these next two years, but who has it all figured out in grade ten?

now :)

then :')

These are my best friends, from down a couple blocks away to a couple provinces away . I love that.
